BUG: Query Designer Has Problems Displaying Some Chinese CharsID: Q175244
|
On clean installs of the CHS versions of Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0, sometimes the Query Designer's graphics pane doesn't display table names. Instead, square boxes are displayed in the Table window.
This appears to be a problem with the system font. The Query Designer is looking for an Arial true type fonts during startup. If it fails to find it on the machine, it uses the system an ANSI version of Arial font.
Look for and install Arial fonts with one of the following styles GB2312_CHARSET CHINESEBIG5_CHARSET.
