An empty tab is added to the Component Gallery for each Visual J++ project that is created using the Java Applet Wizard.
These empty tabs can be deleted from the Component Gallery by following the steps below:
1. There must be either no workspace open or a Visual C++ workspace open to
begin.
2. On the Insert menu, click Component.
3. Click Customize.
4. Select the project from the Categories list box.
5. Click the Delete icon.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem has been fixed in Visual J++ 1.1.
1. Create a Visual J++ Applet/Application using the Java Applet Wizard.
2. Open up a Visual C++ project in Msdev.
3. On the Insert menu, click Component.
4. Click on the tabs created for the Visual J++ project. Notice that they
are empty.
