When you follow a hyperlink on a form or report, the Web toolbar opens and remains open as long as the Microsoft Access session is open. However if you manually close the Web toolbar, and then follow another hyperlink, the Web toolbar does not reopen.
By default, the Web toolbar opens when you first follow a hyperlink and remains open for the rest of your session. Any subsequent hyperlink address that you follow will not trigger the Web toolbar to open again.
You must manually open the Web toolbar by clicking to select the Web check box on the Toolbars submenu on the View menu.
1. Open the sample database Northwind.mdb in Microsoft Access 97.
2. Open the Products form and click the Preview Product List button. The
Web toolbar appears.
3. Close the "Alphabetical List of Products" report. Close the Products
form. Note the Web Toolbar is still showing.
4. On the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click to clear the Web
check box.
5. Open the Products form, and then click the Preview Product List button
again. Note the Web toolbar does not reopen.
For more information about the Web toolbar, search the Help Index for "Web toolbar," and the view the available topics.
