SYMPTOMS

An error has occurred in your program. To keep working anyway click
ignore and save your work. To quit this program click close. You will
lose information you entered since you last started.

The dialog box containing this error message has the word "Duckman" in the title bar.

If you click Ignore, nothing happens. If you click Close, you receive the following error message:

This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.
If problem persists, contact program vendor.

If you click Details, you receive the following information:

Duckman caused a General Protection Fault in WINMIDD.EXE at
   001:00000930

At this point, the computer may stop responding (hang).

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, start the EasyBall Setup program again with the following command:

   setup /ND

The /ND switch causes Setup to run without the EasyBall hardware detection routine.
