IntelliMouse Wheel Does Not Work After Installing F-Prot

SYMPTOMS

After you install F-Prot Professional for Windows 95 version 2.25, the IntelliMouse wheel may no longer function properly.


RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, restart Mswheel.exe. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE to open the Close Program dialog box.


  2. Click Mswheel, and then click End Task.


  3. Click the Start button, and then click Run.


  4. In the Open box, type "mswheel.exe" (without the quotation marks), and then click OK.
