|
When you try to click or double-click your version 2.0 Microsoft Mouse, nothing happens.
This can occur if the mouse sensitivity is set too high.
If you have have ruled out software problems, you probably have a defective
mouse. Your mouse may also be defective if you have to push harder than
normal to produce a click or if the edges of your mouse button(s) are
unresponsive.
NOTE: You may still hear a single- or double-clicking sound when you
try to use a defective mouse.
Use the Mouse Manager to adjust the sensitivity of your mouse.
If that doesn't work and you think your mouse hardware is defective, call
Microsoft Product Support Services at (425) 645-7030. If you are certain
your mouse hardware is defective, call the Microsoft Sales Information
Center (MSIC) at (800) 426-9400.
