Microsoft Mouse Not Working in Quattro Pro

SUMMARY

Quattro Pro may need the command-line switch /Y loaded along with the Microsoft Mouse software to allow Microsoft Mouse support.

This information applies to all versions of the Microsoft Mouse, the Microsoft BallPoint mouse, and Microsoft Mouse software versions 7.04 or greater, for MS-DOS systems.

If the Microsoft Mouse is working in all mouse-supported applications except Quattro Pro, put the command-line switch /Y in the AUTOEXEC.BAT file (as follows) or include this switch when loading the mouse at the command line: 

   C:\MOUSE\mouse /Y
Once the Microsoft Mouse software is installed, try executing Quattro Pro; it should now work with the Microsoft Mouse.

Note: If the Microsoft Mouse software is working in all mouse-supported applications except Quattro Pro and the Microsoft Mouse still does not respond in Quattro Pro after you try the /Y switch, call Borland.
