Microsoft PS/2-Style Mouse Connector Missing PinsID: Q130746
|
The mouse port-compatible Microsoft Mouse may appear to have a defective connector because two of the pins are missing.
The Microsoft PS/2 mouse uses the standard 6-pin round mouse port connector (commonly referred to as a PS/2-style port). Pins two and six are not used or connected to any circuitry in the mouse and are not included in the mouse connector.
