IMS: Incorrect Eventlog When Changing Mailroot Directory

SYMPTOMS

When you make changes to the Mailroot directory, an event log message indicating a change in routing table database is generated. This is not the expected behavior, which is that an event log message indicating a change for the Mailroot directory will be generated.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial Internet System version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
