This article discusses how you can do a multicast on the Internet.
In most cases you will want to coordinate between your Internet
Service Provider (ISP) and the MBONE. In order be able to use multicast
on the Internet, you will need to schedule your event/channel with
and receive the multicast parameters from the MBONE organizers to
do your broadcast.
NOTE: Multicast is best suited for the intranet.
