MOM and QuickShelf Toolbar Tool Tips Stop Working

SYMPTOMS

After you access the CD-ROM drive on your computer, for example by starting Microsoft Bookshelf, tooltips stop appearing on the Microsoft Office Manager (MOM) toolbar, and the Microsoft QuickShelf toolbar.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs only if you access the CD-ROM drive while you are using the Regular Buttons or Large Buttons Toolbar Button Size option for either the QuickShelf toolbar or the MOM toolbar.

Note that this behavior does not occur when you first access the CD-ROM drive while using the Small Buttons Button Size option, and then change to either the Regular Buttons or Large Buttons button size.

WORKAROUNDS

To work around this problem, choose Customize from either the Microsoft Office menu or the Microsoft QuickShelf menu, and then choose Cancel.
