SUMMARY

If you run Microsoft Office Manager (MOM) in the Microsoft Windows NT operating system, the settings from any changes that you make to the View, Menu, or Toolbar tabs may not be saved when you quit Windows NT. Although Microsoft Windows NT has the ability to close the MOM application, if MOM is closed by Microsoft Windows NT (that is, if you don't close MOM manually), any changes you have made to the MOM settings will be lost.

WORKAROUND

To be able to shut down Microsoft Windows NT and keep changes made to the Microsoft Office Manager, you must manually exit the Microsoft Office Manager before you start the Microsoft Windows NT shutdown process.
