In Microsoft Office Manager (MOM), you cannot customize the Program Item Properties (location, parameters, or working directory) of a program to use an MS-DOS environment variable. This is true for both built-in program items, as well as custom program items.
You can currently use MS-DOS environment variables (%variables%) in Program Manager of Microsoft Windows version 3.1 for Program Properties items. Novell Netware users can use this feature to specify a user variable ("%user%") for a user directory.
