OFF95: Description of Autorun Feature on Office CDID: Q134623

When you insert the Microsoft Office compact disc into your CD-ROM drive, a
Microsoft Office For Windows 95 window automatically appears on your
screen. This behavior occurs because of the Autorun.exe file located in the
Autorun folder on the Microsoft Office CD. This file runs automatically
when you insert the Office CD in your CD-ROM drive.
Note that the Autorun feature will only work if the Auto Insert
Notification setting is selected for your CD-ROM drive. By default, this
setting is selected. To select this setting, do the following:
The Microsoft Office For Windows 95 screen that appears when you insert the Office CD displays the following buttons:
Install Microsoft OfficeWhen you move the mouse pointer over one of these buttons, a sound is played on your computer, and a description of the button appears on the screen. The following is the text that appears when you move the mouse pointer over each of these buttons:
