OFF95: Problems Using Help in Office Program Under Windows NTID: Q136527

You may receive a general protection (GP) fault if you start Help in a non- Office application, minimize Help, and then run Help in an Office application.
This problem occurs with the Help engine in Microsoft Windows NT. This problem does not occur in Microsoft Windows 95.
To resolve this issue, you must obtain the Windows NT version 3.51 U.S. Service Pack 1 or later. For information about obtaining the Service Pack, please see the following article(s) in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.51. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT version 3.51.

The Service Pack 1 for NT 3.51 will also address some issues with the Help
on Windows NT 3.51 and contains other enhancements.
