ACC: Data in Text Box Is Blank When Printed or PreviewedID: Q153964
|
Novice: Requires knowledge of the user interface on single-user computers.
When you print or preview a report or a form, a text box does not display
data, even though the records have data in that field.
The text box control will be blank when you print or preview the form or
report if the following conditions are true:
Increase the height of the text box control by opening the report or form
in Design view and using the mouse pointer to manually adjust the size of
the text box to fit the font.
Change the CanGrow property to Yes. This enables the text box control
to display data, but may adjust the alignment of data if the data extends
past the width of the text box control.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Access 7.0 and 97.
