OFF97: AutoCorrect Does Not Allow Multiple Word ExceptionsID: Q157029

When you attempt to add exception text in the AutoCorrect Exception dialog box, the Add button is disabled.
By design, the Add button of the AutoCorrect Exception dialog box will be disabled if you type two or more words separated by spaces.
With AutoCorrect, you can choose to automatically capitalize the first letter of the first word in each sentence. For example, if you type
this is a test.AutoCorrect changes it to
This is a test.so that the first letter of the sentence is capitalized.
HElloAutoCorrect changes this to:
HelloYou can create exceptions to prevent automatic capitalization of any word typed after a specific abbreviation or to prevent automatic case correction of a word that contains a mixture of uppercase and lowercase letters. However, each exception that you add must be a single word; an individual exception cannot be more than one word.
