If you create an embedded Microsoft Excel workbook in a Microsoft Word document or in a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, you may receive the following error message
and then you receive the following Dr. Watson for Windows NT error message:Not enough memory
After you click OK, Microsoft Excel quits, Microsoft Word or Microsoft PowerPoint becomes unstable, and you must quit the program.An application error has occurred and an application error log is being generated.

This problem occurs if all of the following conditions are true:
To work around this problem, eliminate or minimize rotated text in a Microsoft Excel workbook that is embedded in a Microsoft Word document or in a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem
and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.
