SUMMARY

When you install Microsoft Office version 4.2 for Windows NT, each of the Office applications use the same custom dictionary file, CUSTOM.DIC, even though you install each application individually, using a separate Setup program for each.

Microsoft Office version 4.2 for Windows NT includes Microsoft Word for Windows NT, Microsoft Excel for Windows NT and Microsoft PowerPoint for Windows. Even though each application has its own separate Setup program, all three applications use the same custom dictionary file, CUSTOM.DIC. This is also true if you perform a workstation installation of any one or all of the Microsoft Office applications.

Note that Microsoft Excel and Word are 32-bit applications, and Microsoft PowerPoint is a 16-bit application.
