When you click the Microsoft Office Manager buttons to switch back to either Microsoft Word for NT or Microsoft Excel for NT, another copy of the application may be started instead of switching back to the application.
For the Microsoft Office Manager buttons to switch to the appropriate application, the MSOFFICE.INI file must contain certain information.
To add the appropriate information to the MSOFFICE.INI file, do the following:
1. In a text editor (such as Windows Notepad or Windows Write)
open the MSOFFICE.INI file (this file should be located in your Windows
NT or Windows directory).
2. At the end of file, add the following information
[Alias32]
MSAPP1 = OpusApp
MSAPP2 = XLMAIN
where "OpusApp" is the reference for Microsoft Word and "XLMAIN" is the
reference for Microsoft Excel.
The next time you start Microsoft Office Manager, you should be able to
click on the button and switch to the appropriate application.
