When you run PowerPoint from the Microsoft Office Manager toolbar (MOM),
the active (working) directory is the network server directory from which
you installed Microsoft PowerPoint.
Note that this behavior occurs when you run a workstation installation of
any 16-bit application from MOM under Microsoft Windows NT; the working
directory used is a directory located on the network server, instead of the
local user directory.
This behavior occurs when you perform a workstation installation of
Microsoft PowerPoint, and you then start PowerPoint from MOM. Normally,
when you start a Microsoft Windows NT application from MOM, the working
directory for that application is the local user directory.
Note that when you start PowerPoint from the application icon at Program
Manager, the working directory is the local user directory as expected.
