Draw: PowerPoint Icon Appears with Monochrome Video Drivers

SUMMARY

When you minimize Microsoft Draw version 1.0, the icon on the Windows desktop appears as the PowerPoint for Windows icon if Windows is configured to use a monochrome video driver. The text beneath the icon still indicates Microsoft Draw.

MORE INFORMATION

The PowerPoint icon also appears if you create a program icon for Draw in Program Manager or if you choose About Microsoft Draw from the Help menu.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Draw version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
