When you use the Line tool to draw a line in Microsoft Draw, lines at small point sizes (1, 2, or 4 points) may appear to have square ends. By design, however, all lines print with rounded ends.
The Microsoft Draw documentation does not specifically state that the ends of the lines are rounded.
If you want to create lines with squared ends, create a square with white Line and Fill colors and position the square over the end of the line so it covers the rounded portion.

You can also draw a rectangle with the same line thickness and then collapse the rectangle vertically, so that the top line is on the bottom line. When this is printed the ends are blocked not rounded.
