Error: "There Isn't Enough Memory" or "Unable to Open"

• Microsoft Organization Chart for Windows 95, version 2.0
• Microsoft PowerPoint for Windows 95, version 7.0
• Microsoft Office for Windows 95, version 7.0

SYMPTOMS

When you insert an organization chart into a PowerPoint slide, you may receive the following message:

   There isn't enough memory available to read MS Org Chart.

   Unable to open file. You may be out of memory or disk space. Check
   disk space, close other applications, then try again.
   Press F1 for Help.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when there are too many fonts installed under Windows 95 or Windows NT. The exact number of fonts that causes the problem depends on the names of the fonts, and the location from you installed them. Typically, the problem occurs when you install over 600 fonts.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, reduce the number of installed fonts. Remove a few fonts at a time, restart Windows 95 or Windows NT after you remove a number of fonts, and then start Organization Chart.
