SUMMARY

The following article explains how to change a single data point or column in Microsoft Graph 3.0.

MORE INFORMATION

You can change a single data point on a graph by holding down the CTRL key (COMMAND key on the Macintosh) when you double-click that item.

To change the look of a data series in Microsoft Graph, you can double- click a data point or line of that series to open the relevant dialog box (such as Area Patterns or Lines & Markers). This allows you to change the appearance of the columns, lines, bars, and so forth, that represent data in your chart.

If you want to change the color of just one column or one data point on your chart, hold down the CTRL key when you double-click that item. This changes the single item, rather than the full associated series.

NOTE: Microsoft Excel uses the same procedures for its charting features.
