If you draw a single thin vertical line in version 1.0 and 1.01 of Microsoft Draw, it may become thicker when you exit and return to Microsoft Word for Windows.
If you use the Line tool to draw a 1- or 2-point vertical line in Microsoft Draw and the vertical line is the only item in the drawing, the line will become thicker than 1 or 2 points when you exit Draw and return to Word for Windows. The line will print as it appears in Word for Windows.
The thickening of vertical lines will only occur if the vertical line is the only item in the Microsoft Drawing object.
After you insert a single vertical line drawing in Word for Windows, you may be unable to double-click the object to edit the drawing. If you double-click the object, you may receive the following error message:
The dimensions after cropping are too small or too large.
Add a horizontal line formatted with white line and fill colors to your drawing. This horizontal line will prevent the thin vertical line from thickening and will not appear in Word for Windows. If you cannot launch Draw by double-clicking the drawing, select the object and choose Microsoft Drawing Object from the Edit menu.
