The AutoSignature feature does not insert signature information into a message based on a custom mail form.
The AutoSignature feature works only with the default mail form.
To simulate the AutoSignature feature in a custom mail form there are two tasks to complete.
- Select the AutoSignature feature.
1. On the Tools menu, click AutoSignature.
2. Enter the signature information, and then click OK.
To create a custom form, follow these steps:
1. Create a new mail message based on the default message form to use
as a pattern for your custom form.
NOTE: Do not remove the signature information automatically inserted in
the pattern form.
2. On the Tools menu, click Design Outlook Form.
3. Customize the form using the form design tools.
4. On the File menu, click Publish Form As.
5. Type a name for the form, and then click Publish.
Any messages based on the new form will include the signature information.
