MORE INFORMATION

You can control printing of message heading fields by modifying the message form before printing it from Outlook, or by saving the message in Rich Text Format (RTF) and using Microsoft Word to modify and print the message.

To Modify the Message Form in Outlook

  1. Open the mail message in Outlook.

  2. On the Tools Menu, click Design Outlook Form.

  3. Right-click to select the field you want to remove (select the field, not its label).

  4. On the shortcut menu, click Properties.

  5. On the Validation tab, click to clear the "Include this field for printing and Save As" check box and then click OK.

  6. Close and Save the message.

  7. Print the message from Outlook.

RESULT: The field removed in step 3 is not printed. Other mail messages will not be affected.
