If you use Microsoft Outlook 97 to create a custom form that includes a control, the control's grid may continue to be displayed after you quit design mode. This behavior usually occurs with the Frame or MultiPage control.
Use the following steps to stop the grid from be displayed when you are out of design mode:
1. Open the form, and on the Tools menu, click Options and Design Outlook
Form.
2. With your right mouse button, click the control object that displays
the grid.
3. Click to clear the Show Grid check mark.
4. On the Tools menu, click Options and Design Outlook Form to quit
the design mode.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at the beginning of this article. Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
Outlook forms exhibit this behavior when you turn off the form's grid and turn on the control's grid before quitting design mode. Any toolbox control capable of displaying a grid can have this problem.
