This article describes how you can use Microsoft Outlook 97 to view a month calendar with the weekend days displayed as large as the weekdays.
In the Outlook Calendar, when you choose the Day/Week/Month as the current view, and then select to view an entire month, the weekend days may appear smaller (compressed) than the weekdays. In the Month view, Outlook provides an option to display the weekend days in a compressed or uncompressed format.
To uncompress the weekend days, follow these steps:
1. On the Go menu, click Calendar to open your active calendar.
2. In the Current View list on the Standard toolbar, click
Day/Week/Month.
3. On the View menu, click Month, to open the Month view.
NOTE: By default the weekend days are displayed in half the size of the
weekdays, in a compressed format.
4. On the View menu, click Define Views to open the "Define Views for
Calendar" dialog box.
5. Under "Views for Folder Calendar," click "Current view settings," and
then click Modify to open the View Summary dialog box.
6. Click Format to open the "Format Day/Week/Month View" dialog box.
7. Under Month, click to clear the Compress Weekend Days check box.
8. Click OK, OK again, and then Close.
Your calendar should now display the weekend days in the same size as the weekdays.
