If you are using Outlook 97 from the Exchange 5.0 Evaluation Kit, your evaluation copy of Outlook may expire unexpectedly.
The evaluation copy of Outlook may unexpectedly expire if you install a standalone version of another Office 97 product after you have installed Outlook.
You can resolve this problem by copying the Mso97.dll file from the Office folder of the Exchange 5.0 Evaluation Kit to your local Office folder, (usually C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office).
To resolve this problem do the following:
1. Exit Outlook if it is running.
2. Rename the Mso97.dll file in the Office folder on your hard drive
(Usually C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Office\Mso97.dll).
3. Search the Exchange 5.0 Evaluation Kit for the Ms097.dll file and copy
it to your hard drive's Office folder.
4. Restart Outlook.
