OL97: Send Security Keys Button Missing on Windows NT 3.51

The information in this article applies to:

• Microsoft Outlook 97 version 8.02
• Microsoft Windows NT Workstation, version 3.51

SYMPTOMS

If you install or upgrade to Microsoft Outlook 97 version 8.02, on a computer running Windows NT Workstation, version 3.51, the "Send Security Keys" button does not appear under the Security tab of the Options dialog box.

RESOLUTION

This problem does not occur on Windows NT Workstation, version 4.0.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Outlook 97, version 8.02, with Microsoft Windows NT Workstation, version 3.51. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
