OL97: Task Priority not Held in Timex Data Link Wizard

Last reviewed: January 19, 1998

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Outlook 97

SUMMARY

In Microsoft Outlook 97, the information from your last export to the Timex Data Link Watch is held in the Import/Export Wizard for your next export. However, if you last exported Tasks with a priority other than Normal, the Priority will be set back to Normal the next time you export.

MORE INFORMATION

After you export data the first time, information you selected will be available the next time you export to the Data Link Watch. That is, all previously exported items are selected or marked for export.

When exporting data a second time, the Task priority is set to Normal. To ensure that all of your information is exported, you must step through the Wizard and change the Task Priority you want exported.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
