The information in this article applies to:
When you view or print Microsoft Outlook 97 calendar information in a Daily, Weekly or Monthly style, the subject text does not wrap within each day. If the text is too long to fit on one line, the text is truncated.
To maximize the space for printing the subject in Daily and Weekly styles, click Page Setup in the Print dialog box and click to remove the options to include TaskPad and Notes area in the printout.
To maximize the space for printing the subject in the Monthly style, set the option to "Compress weekend days." This will compress Saturday and Sunday to one column, allowing the other columns to size a little wider and allow more room for text.
To Compress Weekend Days, follow these steps:
1. On the View menu, click Format View.
2. In the Month section, click to select "Compress weekend days."
NOTE: You can print a Monthly calendar that word wraps daily appointments within each day by using Office automation with Microsoft Word 97 for Windows. Microsoft provides a free Outlook Calendar Template for Word 97, which will automate this process.
For an example of how to use Word 97 to print an Outlook monthly calendar with word wrapping in appointments, please refer to:
