When you change the state of the Remote WinSock (RWS) client, the operating system always prompts you to restart the system for the changes to take effect. However, you may not always need to restart the computer for the change to take effect.
The Remote WinSock Client properly changes states (from enabled to disabled or vice versa) without restarting the system, provided that both of the following conditions are true:
