SUMMARY

This article describes how to set up a working directory.

MORE INFORMATION

To set up a working directory, use one of the following methods:

  1. Hand edit the SS.INI. For example:

    [$/MyVBproject] Dir = E:\VSSWORK\VBPROJECT

The above lines would set the Source Safe Project titled MyVBProject to the directory E:\VSSWORK\VBPROJECT.

  2. In SourceSafe Explorer (Intel/Alpha/Mips platforms), use the menu option for Set Working Directory under the File menu.

  3. Use the -GL switch to override the Set Working Directory.
