SUMMARY
To attach an embedded chart to an Excel worksheet using the
Lotus 1-2-3 Help command, you can choose Attach from the Save
Command under the Graph menu.
MORE INFORMATION
The following example describes how to create and attach a graph
using the Lotus 1-2-3 Help menu.
- Choose Lotus 1-2-3 from the Help menu or press the "/" key if
you have set Lotus help as such under the Options Workspace
command.
- Choose Graph from the Lotus Help dialog box.
- Set your A, B, C etc. columns accordingly by choosing A-F or
X and then selecting the appropriate cells for each column.
- Choose the type of graph you want from the Type command.
- Now you can attach it to the worksheet by choosing the
Save command and then Attach. At this point you will be
prompted to enter a range of cells to which the graph will be
attached.
Note: The graph has now been attached to an Excel worksheet. The graph
is considered an object and thus will not be saved when you try to
save in any of the Lotus file formats.
