BUG: Select From a View Involving Outer Joins May Cause AVID: Q154035
|
When you Select from a view that involves simple outer joins using ANSI syntax and a distinct clause, an "Exception Divide By Zero" error message appears.
To work around this problem, do not use a distinct clause in the Select statement.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server version 6.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
