BUG: T-SQL Tasks Do Not Run After Restarting SQL ServerID: Q160886
|
New T-SQL tasks that have the same command line as another pre-existing task will fail to run if SQL Server is stopped and restarted while the SQL Executive service remains running.
Stop and restart the SQL Executive service each time you restart the SQL Server service.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server version 6.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
This problem does not occur in Microsoft SQL Server version 6.5.
