BUG: Using Table Manager to Add Columns Unbinds DefaultsID: Q163826
|
After you add columns using the Table Manager in Enterprise Manager, defaults bound to table columns disappear.
To work around this problem, use Transact-SQL from a query window, instead of the GUI tool.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server versions 6.0 and 6.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
