SUMMARY

Several SQL Server utilities are now available for download from the Microsoft Software Library (MSL) FTP Server at:

ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/Softlib/MSLFiles/

MORE INFORMATION

The compressed file Sqlinfo.exe in the Microsoft Software Library (MSL) contains many individual documents and files on press releases, datasheets, third-party products and support, and utilities constructed by Microsoft in relation to SQL Server. The compressed file Sqlhdtst.exe in the MSL is a Win32 file system stress program. The compressed file Sqlole.exe in the MSL contains SQL Server Distributed Management Object (SQL-DMO) C/C++ Headers and Samples for SQL Server version 6.0.

applications. The source code for Sqlwin.exe along with .h
and associated files to compile this code. This application
returns the number of rows in the authors table of the pubs
database through message boxes.

Abstract        VBCOBSQL: Demonstrates a mixed-language (Visual Basic and
COBOL-ESQL) application. Contains all source code and forms
necessary for compiling a mixed-language application.

VBCOBSQL uses the pubs database from the SQL Server. The demo makes several
queries to the pubs database. It also allows you to insert and delete
authors and add new publications to the database.
