PRB: Cannot Register Server in SEM Due to Insufficient MemoryID: Q132451

SQL Enterprise Manager returns the following error message when you try to
register a SQL Server:
Unable to connect to Server (reason: There is insufficient system
memory to run this query). Register anyway?
A connection could not be established to <servername> - There is
insufficient system memory to run this query
SQL Server has not been allocated enough memory. In order to use SQL
Enterprise Manager to administer SQL Server, the server must have at
least 4.5 megabytes of RAM allocated to SQL Server.
Use the sp_configure stored procedure to allocate at least 2304 2K pages to SQL Server.
