WD98: Text Copied from Macro Window Loses Style Formatting

SYMPTOMS

Code windows in the Visual Basic Editor use the formatting defined for the Macro Text style. However, if you copy text from a code window into a document window, the formatting is not retained. Word does not apply the Macro Text style to the macro text in the document window.

WORKAROUND

To retain formatting, apply the Macro Text style to the macro text after pasting the text into a document window. To apply the Macro Text style, follow these steps:

1. Select the macro text in the document window.

2. On the Format menu, click Style.

3. In the List list, click All Styles.

4. In the Styles list, click Macro Text, and then click Apply.
