Excel Err Msg: 'Error in Formula' when Using Manual Link

SUMMARY

If you create a link formula to a worksheet named C or R and you do not place apostrophes around the filename, you will receive the following error message:

Error in formula
This error message occurs because Microsoft Excel reserves the letters C and R for R1C1 reference style.

For example, to use the following formula


   =C!$A$1 


you would have to place apostrophes around the filename, as in the following example:


   ='C'!$A$1
