To resolve this problem, place the line of macro code that contains the
Volatile method after the line of macro code that contains the Evaluate
method, as in the following two lines of code:
variable = ActiveSheet.Evaluate(argument)
Application.Volatile
NOTE: The above two lines of code will not work in a macro if typed exactly
as shown. Their purpose is to illustrate the relative positions for these
two methods if you want your code to work properly.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
