When you open a file that contains a Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications macro, a macro virus alert message fails to appear even though Macro Virus Protection is selected on the General tab in the Options dialog box.
This problem may occur when you open a file that contains Visual Basic macro code in a class module or when you open a file that contains code that is associated with a UserForm.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
