MORE INFORMATION

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Start a new Windows CE Project in Visual Basic 5.0. Form1 is created by default.

  2. Add a Frame (Frame1) to Form1.

  3. Draw a ComboBox (Combo1) inside of Frame1.

  4. Add the following code to Form1:

          Option Explicit
          Dim x

          Private Sub Form_Load()

            For x = 1 to 8
              Combo1.AddItem "Item" & x
            Next
          End Sub

          Private Sub Combo1_Click()
            MsgBox "Text: " & Combo1.Text
          End Sub

          Private Sub Combo1_Change()
            MsgBox "Text: " & Combo1.Text
          End Sub

  5. Press the F5 key to run the project.

  6. Click on the drop-down arrow of the ComboBox and then click on any item. Note that neither the Click event nor the Change event will fire.
