The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIf the DragMode property of the ListView or TreeView controls is set to Automatic, items added to the controls are not visible. This behavior occurs even if the EnsureVisible method is invoked for either the nodes or listitems.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be an issue in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. Microsoft is researching this issue and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
WORKAROUNDWhen adding new nodes or listitems to the controls, and invoking the EnsureVisible method, set the DragMode property to 0 - Manual. It can be set back to Automatic at the end of the routines to add new items.
