SUMMARYIf the Gridlines option is selected in the Page Setup dialog box, Excel prints a black border around the print area as well as gridlines outlining each individual cell. If Gridlines is not selected, Excel 3.0 does not print the border around the print area. In Excel 3.0, individual cell gridlines can be masked from displaying and printing by setting a white foreground or background pattern. The black border around the printed page, however, will always print unless Print Gridlines is canceled in the Page Setup dialog box.
