SUMMARY

BTR200.EXE is a self-extracting compressed file containing an updated Btrieve ISAM driver that fixes a bug. The bug displays the following error message when working with an attached Btrieve table:

   "Error 3275: "Unexpected error from external database driver ()"

The bug mentioned above can cause a query based on a Microsoft Access version 2.0 database with an attached Btrieve table to not return any records. The query works correctly on Microsoft Access version 1.x databases.

The problems stated above are caused by a bug in the BTRV200.DLL Btrieve ISAM driver that is installed by the Microsoft Jet 2.0/Visual Basic 3.0 Compatibility Layer.
